TOMORROW WE RACE

The team had another long and exciting day in Rouen, France.  We started the day with more television and press interviews then off to registrations and inspections.  We has a small issue with trim but our crew was able to get it fixed and we feel prepared for tomorrow.

This afternoon we had drivers presentation, when the team was announced and we went on stage we had a very warm welcome by local spectators.  All the teams then proceeded to the top of the bridge to throw a rose into the River Sienne in honor of the man who started Rouen 48 years ago.

I had a chance to evaluate the water conditions today.  The water is extremely rough with a very strong current and debri everywhere, it will be very challenging!

After the drivers presentation the team was escorted to the drivers briefing which was held in French, however, the officials were very kind and has a smaller detailed drivers meeting for the English speaking drivers.

The officials have incorportated new rules to help deal with commercial barge traffic on the course during the event.  There will be safety/rescue involved but we will still need to race with commercial traffic on the course.

Tomorrow we will be in the race paddock at 8 a.m. for a boat tour of the course and then our first test session.  The drivers order is undecided at this time until testing, with the exception of Marie-line who will start the race.  Our team manager has decided to do approximately 1 hour intervals for tomorrow then we will re-establish what is needed to be done to be successful.

Thanks
